Subtitled Tuesdays: 'You Carry Me'
On June 23 our regular screening program 'Subtitled Tuesdays' (with both English and Croatian subtitles included) will present Croatian film 'You Carry Me' (orig. Croatian title: 'Ti mene nosiš') directed by Ivona Juka.
Juka's feature debut offers a colorful portrait of four strong personalities whose desire for satisfaction bumps up against seemingly insurmountable day-to-day problems. Juka's previous works include feature-length documentary film 'Facing the Day' ('Što sa sobom preko dana'), the most awarded Croatian documentary film, and award-winning short films 'Garbage' and 'Editing', which were selected in official competition of numerous festivals in the USA.
The screening starts at 8:30 pm.
