Subtitled Tuesday: 'Olli Mäki'
On 20 June, our regular screening program 'Subtitled Tuesday' (with English subtitles included) will present the Finnish humoristic biographical drama The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki ('Hymyilevä mies'), directed by Juho Kuosmanen and starring Jarkko Lahti, Oona Airola and Eero Milonoff. Screening starts at 7 p. m.
One of the biggest surprises of last year's Cannes, is this biographical tale of Finnish boxer Olli Mäki who suddenly finds himself in the media spotlight as the first Finn to fight for the title of world champion. But Mäki is caught up in something much more important: he has just found the love of his life - Raia. Success in sports, media attention and national pride don't stand a chance against true love!
