Subtitled Tuesday: 'Men Don't Cry'
On July 17, our regular screening program 'Subtitled Tuesday' (with English subtitles included) will present the Bosnian and Herzegovinian war drama 'Men Don't Cry' (2017) by Alen Drljević. Screening starts at 6:30 p. m.
A group of veterans from three rival armies od former Yugoslav countries meets in an isolated mountain hotel for group therapy. There is a whirlwind of emotions and old feelings of hostility resurface. An explosive drama about prejudice, trauma and a crisis of masculinity. Winner of the Golden Pram Award for Best Film at the 15th Zagreb Film Festival.
