Subtitled Tuesday: 'The Together Project'
On 27 June, our regular screening program 'Subtitled Tuesday' (with English subtitles included) will present the irresistible romantic comedy The Together Project (' L'effet aquatique'), directed by French-Icelandic director Sólveig Anspach and starring Samir Guesmi and Florence Loiret Caille. Screening starts at 7:15 p. m.
Samir, a 40 year-old crane operator from Paris, falls in love with Agatha, a swimming-instructor. To seduce her he pretends he doesn't know how to swim so she can teach him. But his romantic plan soon falls apart - Agatha discovers he's infact a good swimmer and she can't stand liars. She runs of to Island to attend the International Lifeguard Conference, and the infatuated Samir has no choice but to follow her...
